Guests are always welcome.  Please be there around 7:20pm so that we can meet you and explain what we'll be doing.

No appointment is necessary; just turn up with a smile and an eagerness to improve your speaking and leadership skills.

Improve your Communication Skills

Do you want to develop your verbal communication skills so you can speak confidently in front of an audience?  Then come to our club.  By joining a Toastmasters Club, you will begin the rewarding journey to being a Competent Communicator.

Our Club is a community club dedicated to developing and promoting public speaking and leadership skills.  We welcome guests and guest speakers.

What you will learn at Toastmasters

At Toastmasters, you will learn how to:

• speak without any preparation
• prepare and practise your speech
• organise your speech into a logical sequence
• open and close your speech effectively

When delivering your speech, you'll learn how to:

• use body language and gestures to add impact
• use your voice to enhance your message
• get control of your nerves

In addition, you'll find out how to:

• get to know your audience
• introduce other speakers
• Recognise and use good speaking techniques
• evaluate speakers with effective feedback

Join our Club

When you have decided you wish to join the club, talk to the Vice President Membership or Treasurer who will assist you to fill in the Toastmasters Membership Application form (2 page PDF) and receive your fees.
